Facial Irritation Can Trigger Alzheimer's
People with rosacea skin problems, was considered to be at increased risk for Alzheimer's and dementia in old age, according to a new study in the journal Annals of Neurology.

Further research is needed to determine whether treatment of rosacea since his youth can help protect the brain against the symptoms of dementia in old age.
Even so, the rosacea treatments such as antibiotics tetracycline, has the possibility to suppress or beta-amyloid proteins in the brain that is thought to contribute to Alzheimer's disease.
